So much of this work began with a simple practice: sitting, getting quiet, and becoming open to hear God. And in that stillness, discovering He had always been showing me things. Always trying to talk to me. Always wanting to father me, and be there for me as a father.
As a certified God Talks coach, I walk alongside people to have those deeper conversations with God, not as an occasional event that happens once in a while, but as something that becomes woven into everyday life. We are so often busy trying to control everything, doing it just right, that even when God comes alongside to help, we dismiss it. This work is about learning to notice.
I did not hear a voice. I got a picture in my head. I did not understand it at the time, I just had this image. And when I went and looked there, I found what I had lost.
"I asked, and He answered. It was a picture, not a voice. But He is God. He can speak to you any way He wants."
For a long time it did not connect for me. That is how it so often goes. We have these experiences and we dismiss them, never quite recognizing that He has come alongside to help, that He is for us, not against us, right there the whole time.
Those who love God and long to know Him more closely, and make that friendship a daily reality.
Those who believe but feel distant, or were never taught how to have that kind of relationship.
Those who are simply willing to ask, "what do I have to lose?" You are genuinely welcome here.
